The Attleboro Seventh-day Adventist church is a Bible based, Christian church which emphasizes the nearness of the second advent of Jesus Christ and the continued importance of the Seventh-day Sabbath.

Where People are Loved, Jesus is the Center, and the Bible Our Guide

We offer Sabbath (Saturday) morning study for children and adults. We worship as a family and we work for our community. But mostly, we love Jesus and want to honor Him.

We are a church with a rich heritage in history and experience.  We desire to impact our community for Christ as well as nurture and grow a strong membership. Church is more than attendance at the 11:00 hour on Sabbath morning when we enjoy fellowship and hear the Word spoken and modeled.

Each member is a work in progress as together we journey toward the goal of Christ-likeness and love. We value family, spiritual maturity, physical vitality, and a healthy lifestyle. We realize that it is in the fellowship of the church that we can grow strong as brothers and sisters in Christ.

The truth of God's Word has been an important anchor for this Bible-centered movement from the very beginning.  New England was the incubator for what is now a worldwide movement with hospitals, schools, and humanitarian organizations that span culture, climate, and political boundaries.  The boyhood home of Joseph Bates, the foremost personality in bringing the Sabbath understanding to Adventism, is located just across the river down in Fairhaven.

The Attleboro Church aims to keep the truth of Jesus alive in a culture where God is ignored and kindly actions are often neglected. We nurture our people through home gatherings, study groups, community activities, and joyful worship. We value our young people and aim to have classes and events appropriate to growing strong Christians.  We try to be good citizens in a culture that often seems to care little about our fellow neighbor. We aim to model Jesus' compassion for the needy, healing for the sick, and hope for the emotionally battered. We aim to be a place where men and women grow stronger in service and powerful in purpose.

Numerous opportunities for service abound, from teaching children, challenging youth, leading in services, and growing in Christian graces. We have Sabbath School classes for all ages. We believe it is through the balanced development of body, mind, and spirit that one can achieve the most joy and greatest contribution to society. Jesus must be our model. He is strong, convincing, tender, and compassionate all in one package. We strive to emulate and desire to be more like Him.
