God's people are to grow in every aspect of life, including financially. Through sound stewardship principles we can become wise, especially as they relate to the spirituality of money management in postmodern culture.  By this, in all aspects of life we one day hope to hear "Well done though good and faithful servant," (Matt 25:23) from our Lord Jesus Christ.

AdventistGiving allows you to return your tithe and give your offerings online while you do your online banking, are on a long business trip, on vacation, or even if you are unable to attend church due to an illness or any other reason that keeps you from attending the Church. There is a way for individuals to return tithe and offerings to their local church from any computer or mobile device.  There is a AdventistGiving app that is available in the Apple or Google Play app stores. AdventistGiving maintains the highest levels of security and is monitored regularly. We recognize the sacredness of the tithe dollar (Lev. 27:30), and we employ the strictest standards to protect both the tithe dollar given, as well as the donor. Security is paramount. The AdventistGiving platform has never been compromised, and donor’s data has never been breached.

"What is a Steward?"

Each of us has been promoted to manage a “store” for God. It may seem we’ve started at the bottom, and our work insignificant, but God will bless us if we labor faithfully. The word “steward” means “manager.” Christians define a “steward” as one who recognizes that God – the Owner of everything – employs men and women as His managers.

God wants us to put Him first (Exodus 20:3), and promises to provide for all our needs (Philippians 4:19). We make His interests ours… He makes our interests His. God knows where our choices will lead, and wants to help us make wise decisions. As we daily depend on Him, He makes our “yoke” easy and our “burden light.” (Matthew 11:30)

FAQ: Giving Online Through

Frequently Asked Questions provided by AdventistGiving

Do my tithes and offerings still go through my local church?
Yes. 100% of the funds are routed through the local church.

What payment types do you accept?
We accept electronic checks(using your checking’s routing and account number), and we can process Visa®, MasterCard® and Discover® credit cards. We also accept debit cards with the Visa® and MasterCard® logo. Some conferences/region may only accept electronic checks. In Canada, only credit cards with the Visa® and MasterCard® logos can be used at this time.

Is my credit card/electronic check information secure?
As privacy and security are top priorities in this program, state-of-the-art security measures are in place. For more information, read our Privacy Policy.

Who will know what I am giving?
Your password, login and state-of-the-art security measures protect your privacy online. Only your church treasurer will have knowledge of your giving, as is the case with regular cash and check contributions.

What do I do if I don’t see the fund that I want to donate to?
AdventistGiving has more than 900 offering categories from which to select, and you will likely find the category you want. However, if you do not see an offering category listed, you can still give cash or a check at your local church. You may also contact your local treasurer if you wish to request a category be added to AdventistGiving.

How long will it take for my church to receive the money I give online?
The funds are sent to the church checking account electronically on a monthly cycle.

How do the local church treasurers keep track of this method of giving?
After receiving a monthly electronic report of all AdventistGiving transactions, the local church treasurer incorporates this group of givers into the monthly report to the church and conference. The local church treasurer then disburses the contributions in harmony with the givers’ intentions.

Who issues my receipt?
After a successful transaction, AdventistGiving generates a confirmation for your records. Official tax receipts will be issued by the receiving church or conference by the end of the year.

Who pays the credit card transaction fees and other banking fees?
The overall cost is shared by the local conference, the union, the North American Division, and the General Conference to ensure you get full credit for your contributions.

Can I still use the old familiar cash and check method of giving?
Yes. AdventistGiving is simply another method available to you.

Once I establish an AdventistGiving account, am I always required to give online?
No. You can use all available methods at anytime.

What is your refund policy?
If you have made a duplicate donation or the amount you have given is in error, please contact us at help@adventistgiving.org for a refund. In some cases we may need to wait to verify that your payment was successful before issuing a refund. If your donation has already been transferred to your church, you will need to speak directly with your church treasurer.

Does this system give more money to the conference?
No. All percentages and destinations remain the same as the regular system.

Can I make tuition payments to my child’s Adventist school through AdventistGiving?
No. AdventistGiving accepts only tax-deductible contributions. School tuition is not tax-deductible.
